The Dodgers coordinated a wish fulfillment with the Make-A-Wish Foundation for 14 year old Michael Douglas from Wellsville, KS. Michael has lung disease and is primarily in a wheelchair, on oxygen and a feeding tube. Michael’s wish was to be a Dodger for day, watch batting practice and meet the players. The Dodgers provided Michael with a behind the scenes look at the clubhouse, training room and watching batting practice up close and personal. Michael was named an honorary Dodger and was given a locker and a uniform.
