The Green Game – March 21, 2013

For the third year, the Dodgers played an exhibition game with a higher purpose. On March 21, the Dodgers made a two-hour drive to Tucson to play at Kino Memorial Stadium where the game benefited the Christina-Taylor Green Memorial Foundation. Christina-Taylor was the 9-year old daughter of John Green, the Dodger’s National Crosschecker, and granddaughter of longtime big league manager Dallas Green. She was one of six people fatally wounded outside a Tucson shopping center on Jan. 8, 2011 when she joined others to hear from Arizona Representative Gabrielle Giffords.
